Peter advises charter schools on traditional labor law, employment law, litigation and other general legal matters that they encounter. To do this, he draws on his prior experience as General Counsel at two school systems, as well as his work as a charter school teacher and school board member.

Peter began his legal career as a litigation associate at a global law firm. While there, he provided pro bono counsel on education-focused public impact litigation, legislation and direct advocacy.

Beyond his legal background, Peter has had significant training and experience in nonprofit leadership and education policy.
