<a href="https://www.goldbergkohn.com/people/steven-torrez/">Steven Torrez</a> has joined Goldberg Kohn as an Associate in the firm's&nbsp;<a href="https://www.goldbergkohn.com/services/commercial-finance/">Commercial Finance Group</a>.&nbsp;He represents financial institutions in documenting, negotiating and performing due diligence for asset-based and cash-flow&nbsp;commercial finance transactions. He was previously an associate with an international law firm.

Steve received his law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2014. While in law school he was a Law Clerk/Legal Intern with the Champaign County Office of the State's Attorney and a PILI Fellow with CARPLS Legal Aid, which provides free legal services to low- and moderate income residents of Cook County.

He received his B.S. in Psychology, cum laude, from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2011. Mr. Torrez is admitted to practice law in Illinois.
