He represents clients in commercial disputes involving breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, fraud, intellectual property, and False Claims Act matters.&nbsp;

Prior to joining Goldberg Kohn, Joe was an associate with a large, national law firm. He also served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Marvin Aspen, former Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, a role where he gained practical experience researching and drafting memoranda on a variety of litigation issues, and observed jury and bench trials, oral arguments, motion calls and sentencing hearings.

Joe earned his J.D.,<em> cum laude</em>, from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2015. While in law school, he was a member of Northwestern’s Bartlit Center Trial Team, where he competed nationally against some of the best student advocates in the country. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2012.
