Jonathan Cooper is speaking about the United Nations Secured Transactions Guide and its impact on cross-border finance at the American Bar Association's Business Law Section's 2009 Spring Meeting, which will be held April 16-18, 2009, in Vancouver, British Columbia.&nbsp;

Jonathan is a principal in the firm's Commercial Finance Group and is the Vice-Chair of the ABA Subcommittee on Cross Border and Trade Finance. Jonathan worked with UNCITRAL (the trade division of the United Nations) in connection with UNCITRAL'S work to develop the Secured Transaction Guide, which provides a comprehensive blueprint for countries wishing to modernize their secured transactions regimes.
