Goldberg Kohn's False Claims Act Practice is featured in a <em>Chicago Lawyer</em> article, "Niche Practices Play Big Role in Midsize Strategy," published March 1, 2013. The article, which focuses on how midsize law firms develop niche practice areas which in turn helps to grow the overall firm business, quotes <a href="https://www.goldbergkohn.com/people/david-j-chizewer/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">David Chizewer</a>, a Principal in the firm's Litigation Group.

Mr. Chizewer spoke about how winning the largest judgment ever in a False Claims Act case, $335 million for <em>United States of America ex. rel. Cleveland A. Tyson, et al. v. Amerigroup Corporation, et al</em>, allowed him to grow the firm's contingency fee, plaintiff-side practice- which now accounts for 70 percent of his time. "It was a tremendous return on the investment," Mr. Chizewer said. "And even before we won, we were hoping that we would get a good enough result that would justify our continuing on this practice area."
