On Friday, June 4, 2010, a group of female attorneys from Goldberg Kohn volunteered for the Women Everywhere Service Day for the second year in a row. Through Women Everywhere, Goldberg Kohn was paired with Hephzibah Children's Association in Oak Park, a safe house that works to enhance the lives of children and families through a continuum of innovative programs. The attorneys spent the day running a game room at Hephzibah's Rodeo Jamboree.

Women Everywhere is a collaborative effort of nine women's Bar groups, working together to plan and coordinate volunteer activities on behalf of high school girls as well as women and children in need. Through WE, several hundred volunteers, including federal and state judges, attorneys, and friends of the legal community have donated time to the Educational Program and the Community Service Day. Hephzibah believes strongly that children should live in families. And, whenever possible, their own family. Hephzibah also believes that children should have a safe, nurturing environment, free from abuse and neglect. Hephzibah works on solutions, with the best interest of the child at heart.
