<strong><a href="https://www.goldbergkohn.com/people/erika-takase/">Erika L. Takase</a> </strong>has joined Goldberg Kohn as an Associate in the firm's Commercial Finance Group. She represents banks and other financial institutions primarily engaged in middle market lending activities in documenting, negotiating and performing due diligence for asset-based and cash-flow commercial finance transactions.

Erika also has experience in complex real estate transactions and lenders' ability to recover debt secured by real property collateral.

Erika earned her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2023. While in law school she held a commercial real estate summer associate position with an international law firm. She was also a housing legal intern at Mobilization for Justice, which offers free legal assistance to low-income New Yorkers throughout New York City.

She earned her B.A. in political science, <em>magna cum laude</em>, from the University of Southern California in 2020.
